West Ham United end Emmanuel Adebayor pursuit?

West Ham are understood to have ended their pursuit of Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

West Ham United have reportedly ended their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Hammers recently re-entered talks with Spurs after a loan move for the 31-year-old fell through back in January.

However, West Ham have decided that they are not prepared to pay his £110,000-per-week wages, according to The Telegraph.

The Togo international scored two goals in 17 games for Tottenham last season.

Adebayor moved to White Hart Lane from Manchester City in August 2012 for £5m.
