Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly cooled their interest in signing Sporting Lisbon right wing-back Pedro Porro.
Antonio Conte is believed to be on the lookout for a new right wing-back as he has doubts over Matt Doherty, Emerson Royal and Djed Spence.
Twenty-three-year-old Porro has been linked with a potential switch to North London having impressed for Sporting over the last few seasons.
The Spaniard initially joined Sporting in the summer of 2020 on a two-year loan deal from Manchester City before making his move to the Portuguese giants permanent in May.
Porro – who failed to make a single appearance during a three-year stint at Man City – has since recorded 11 goals and 19 assists in 93 appearances for Sporting across all competitions, including two goals and 10 assists in 21 matches this season.

Porro is under contract at the Estadio Jose Alvalade until 2025 and is only allowed to leave the club if his €45m (£39.7m) release clause is activated.
Speaking to reporters at the end of last month, Sporting boss Ruben Amorim said: "With regard to Pedro Porro, we know that there are players in our team who, because of what they have done, are now wanted by other clubs.
"What I was told is that he can only leave if the clause is triggered. And if the clause is triggered, there is nothing we can do."
A recent report claimed that Tottenham were closing in on the signing of Porro and that a move could be completed before the end of the week.
However, Sky Sports News reports that Spurs have now cooled their interest in the Spanish defender as they are unwilling to activate the player's release clause.

The report adds that the North Londoners are admirers of Porro but they have opted against entering advanced negotiations with Sporting due to their current terms, and a potential January deal is now 'some way off'.
Porro played twice against Tottenham in the Champions League group stage earlier this season as Sporting claimed four points across their home and away meetings, although they eventually finished third in Group D.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Porro, while Man City are able to re-sign the wing-back for £17.6m after inserting a buy-back clause in his Sporting deal over the summer.
Aside from Porro, Spurs have also been linked with a number of other players across Europe including Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapie and Barcelona duo Franck Kessie and Ferran Torres.
