Spurs to offer Alli, Kane new contracts?

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer Dele Alli and Harry Kane new contracts in a bid to keep the England internationals long-term, according to reports.

The Sun claims that Kane will be offered £70,000 a week, while Alli's wages will be more than doubled to £25,000 a week, and both players would be tied down for five years.

Neither player has begun negotiations with the club but it is believed that Spurs want the new deals completed soon to ward off interest from Europe's top teams.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has kept tight-lipped on the subject but did tell reporters: "If you are successful the club gives you what you deserve. This club always pays its players a good salary."

Kane has scored seven goals in 16 appearances in all competitions, while Alli has notched up two goals in 11 league appearances in his debut season at the club.
