Tottenham target Borja Valero

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a bid for Villarreal midfielder Borja Valero.

Harry Redknapp is willing to offer £9m for the 26-year-old, according to The Sun.

Valero came up through the Real Madrid ranks before moving to West Bromwich Albion in 2008.

A loan spell at Mallorca followed, before the player was snapped up by Villarreal, where he scored on this home debut for the club.
