Tottenham Hotspur hold Sebastian Rode discussions

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly held talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over the possible transfer of their young star Sebastian Rode.

The 21-year-old was a key member of the Frankfurt side that secured promotion to the Bundesliga this season.

Bayer Leverkusen are also thought to be interested in the central midfielder, but his current club are apparently reluctant to sell, according to BBC Sport.

Rode has represented Germany at youth level and won his first under-21 cap at the back end of 2011.
