Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has claimed that he expects to leave Spurs before the transfer window closes.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Ireland’s friendly against Croatia, the ROI captain confirmed that he plans to move from the North London club in search of regular first-team football.
“It's probably likely that I will be going but I can't really answer where to at the moment,†he said. “There's obviously a lot of speculation but there's still a couple of weeks to go and we'll see what happens.
“I'm quite happy to go anywhere. For me, it's just about playing regular football... I'm not too bothered.â€
Keane, 31, spent the latter half of last season on loan to West Ham, in a run that saw the East London side relegated to the Championship.
He has scored 91 goals in 238 appearances for Spurs, but has recently struggled to find first-team football with the club.
