Barcelona striker David Villa is close to agreeing a move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.
The 31-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Catalan club this summer, with Spurs the top suitors for his signature.
Andre Villas-Boas's side have agreed a deal with Villa and his representatives but are yet to match the £8.6m valuation Barcelona have placed on the striker, according to The Mirror.
Spurs are reportedly confident of landing their man in the coming weeks, as the Spanish champions want Villa and his £110,000-a-week wage off their bill.
Villa scored 11 goals in 39 appearances for Barcelona last season.
