Report: Tottenham Hotspur slap £6m price tag on Aaron Lennon

Aaron Lennon will cost Everton £6m if they want to buy him this summer, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur have told Everton that they must pay £6m to turn Aaron Lennon's loan move into a permanent deal this summer, according to reports.

The tricky right winger joined the Toffees on loan in January and has started to rediscover some of his best form in recent weeks.

The Telegraph reports that Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to keep Lennon beyond the end of the season, but they could face competition from other Premier League sides.

The 27-year-old is unlikely to return to Spurs, as he doesn't feature in manager Mauricio Pochettino's long-term plans.

Lennon has won 21 caps for England.
