Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly contacted Swansea City over a prospective summer move for defender Ben Davies.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is understood to have identified the left-back as a replacement for Luke Shaw when he was still in charge of Southampton.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Argentine has retained an interest in the young Welshman and will look to lure the 21-year-old to North London this summer.
Davies, whose Swansea contract expires in 2017, made 34 Premier League appearances for the Swans last season.
