Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has reportedly entered talks with Los Angeles FC over a potential move to MLS.
The 33-year-old could be the latest high-profile name to depart the North London club this summer following the loan move of Mikey Moore to Rangers.
Son is best described as a Spurs legend, helping the club end their 17-year trophy drought last season, when he lifted the Europa League as captain.
The 2024-25 campaign was a solid one for the South Korean on an individual note, too, providing 16 goal contributions across 30 Premier League matches.
Since making the high-profile switch from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in 2015, Son has featured on 454 occasions for Spurs, netting 173 goals.
Son in talks over Tottenham exit?
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Son could be waving goodbye to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
The report claims that the South Korean has attracted interest from a big club in MLS, namely Los Angeles FC of the Western Conference.
It is understood that Son and the MLS outfit have entered talks over the player potentially making the switch over to the United States.
With discussions ongoing, there has currently been no decision or agreement made on whether the 33-year-old ends up at the club or not.
Son has spent the last few days away with Spurs in Singapore, where Thomas Frank's troops beat Arsenal in a friendly match on Thursday.
Moving on from Son
After a decade at the club, Son looks likely to depart Tottenham, who need to move in a different direction under the tutelage of Frank.
Spurs have bolstered their attacking ranks this summer with the signing of Ghana international Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.
The 24-year-old is a different type of player than Son, who is undoubtedly one of Tottenham's greatest players of the modern era.
