Bongani Khumalo returns to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur defender Bongani Khumalo has returned to the club for pre-season training.

The 26-year-old South African international had been loaned out to Preston North End, Reading and Greek side PAOK Salonika in the last three seasons after arriving at White Hart Lane from Supersport United in 2011.

The centre-back has been linked with a return to his home country for next season.

Khumalo is yet to make a competitive appearance for Spurs following his move two years ago.
