Gareth Bale's agent has revealed that it is "too early" to conclude whether the Tottenham Hotspur loanee will stay at his parent club Real Madrid next season.
The Welsh international has played 25 games for Spurs since joining on loan from Los Blancos in the summer, scoring 10 goals and assisting three.
This week the four-time Champions League winner confirmed that he intends to return to the Bernabeu once his loan contract expires in June.
Bale has a contract worth £31m a year, and Real Madrid have struggled in the past to find a permanent buyer willing to match the Welshman's wages.
However, Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has told ESPN that the 31-year-old's comments have been "taken out of context", insisting that it is still "too early" to know where his future lies.
Bale is currently on international duty with Wales, winning his 88th cap in their defeat to Belgium earlier this week.
