Iago Falque to depart Tottenham Hotspur for Genoa

Genoa are on the verge of completing the signing of Tottenham Hotspur winger Iago Falque.

The 24-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from Juventus on a season-long loan deal in August 2011, before that became a permanent agreement during the following transfer window.

However, the Spaniard has barely featured for Spurs, spending the last two campaigns away from the club, but after making an impact at Rayo Vallecano, Genoa have made their move.

It is believed that the Serie A outfit will pay somewhere in the region of £4m for Falque, who represented Spain up to Under-21 level.
