A report claims that Gareth Bale will stay at Tottenham Hotspur for another 12 months at least.

Gareth Bale has reportedly decided to remain with Tottenham Hotspur for at least another season.

The Welsh winger's form this campaign has seen him linked with a host of clubs, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

That speculation intensified last night when he was present at Old Trafford to watch Madrid record a 2-1 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League.

However, provided that Spurs qualify for Europe's top competition, Bale has told close friends that he would be happy to stay at White Hart Lane, according to Goal.com.

The report went on to claim that Spurs are preparing to offer the 23-year-old an extension to his current contract with the club.
