Gareth Bale present at Old Trafford

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale was a spectator at Old Trafford tonight for Manchester United's Champions League tie with Real Madrid.

The Welsh winger, currently being touted as one of the best players in the world, watched on as United, who had Nani sent off, fell to a controversial defeat.

Bale's self-confessed role model, Cristiano Ronaldo, netted the decisive goal for the Spanish outfit against his former club.

Madrid are apparently lining up a summer raid for the Spurs star, who has previously stated his willingness to play abroad.
