Gareth Bale offered new Tottenham Hotspur deal

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have offered Gareth Bale a new contract at White Hart Lane.

The Welsh winger, who is tied to the club until 2015, has been linked with big-money moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Spurs now hope that the 23-year-old will agree to sign a two-year extension that should earn him a significant payrise, according to The Mirror.

Bale joined the Premier League side from Southampton in 2007 for around £7m.
