Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the club are in negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over the transfer of Gareth Bale.
The Welsh midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish giants, but this is the first time that official talks have been confirmed.
"I believe the club is in talks to find a solution and we will see what happens," he told reporters.
"It is difficult to talk about Bale because he is not a Real Madrid player at present.
"I have never spoken to him. I do not usually talk to players who are not from my team and it would not be fair to do so."
Bale is reported to have told Spurs that he wants to move to Real, but has not handed in an official transfer request.
