Agent claims Spurs want Juventus striker

The agent of Juventus striker Amauri has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Italian.

The 31-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, could be signed for a cut price in the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.

"Tottenham are interested in Amauri, as are three Italian clubs. We will weigh up whether he prefers to continue playing in Italy, or go to England," said Ernesto Bronzetti.

The forward moved to Turin from Palermo in 2009 for £20m.
