Enrique tipped for Spurs job

Celta Vigo manager Luis Enrique has become the latest coach to be tipped as a potential replacement for Andre Villas-Boas at Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Roma boss, who worked with Spurs director of football Franco Baldini in the Italian capital, has emerged as a surprise candidate for the White Hart Lane hotseat.

Villas-Boas has come under fire following Spurs' 6-0 thrashing away to Manchester City, but recently downplayed reports that he is out of favour with his players and the club's board.

"I am immune right now. I used to read a lot into situations like this but not anymore," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.

"I am very indifferent. There is only one quarter that I come under pressure from, which is the press. I have the confidence of the board [and] of my players."

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has also been linked with the Spurs job since the heavy defeat at City.
