How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Watford

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League game between Watford and Tottenham Hotspur, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up at Vicarage Road.

Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford looking to end their three-match winless streak in the Premier League.

A draw at Norwich City and back-to-back defeats to Southampton and Liverpool respectively have left the North London outfit in eighth position in the table.

However, Jose Mourinho watched his side return to winning ways on Tuesday night with a 2-1 triumph over Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Spurs may line up for the contest with the Hornets.

Having made changes in midweek, the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min will all be handed recalls to the starting lineup.

However, Mourinho has a number of dilemmas, both in terms of personnel and with regards to how many players to use in his defence.

With Japhet Tanganga having impressed at right-back against Middlesbrough, that may lead to Mourinho going with a back four, with Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen making up the remainder of the defence.

That could see Ryan Sessegnon used further down the left flank, leaving Son to play down the middle and Lucas Moura to move out to the right.

Alli is in line to replace Christian Eriksen, who continues to be linked with a move away from the club, while Mourinho will likely use Eric Dier over Harry Winks due to his greater physical presence.

Giovani Lo Celso is expected to be used either alongside Dier or in a three-man partnership with the Englishman and his compatriot Alli.
