Andre Villas-Boas praises QPR's quality and insists that they will not be involved in a relegation battle.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has praised the quality of Queens Park Rangers' squad, insisting that they will not be in a relegation fight.

Mark Hughes's side head to White Hart Lane this weekend hoping to stop Villas-Boas from picking up his first home win as Spurs boss.

QPR have spent large sums of money in the transfer market, adding the likes of Julio Cesar and Esteban Granero to their squad. However, despite the stellar signings, the side have only picked up two points for their first four games. Villas-Boas believes that their position in the table does not reflect their quality.

"At the moment QPR's position in the table does not reflect the team that they can be or where they can finish in the league," the Portuguese coach told Spurs TV Online.

"This is a team who have brought in tremendous players in the summer window. They brought in very important players from all over the world, players who are European champions, players who have had success at international level.

"They will virtually bring another level to the Premier League so it will be a very difficult game on Sunday and we have to be careful."

Spurs currently sit in 10th place, having picked up five points so far in the Premier League.
