New Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen believes that Andre Villas-Boas has the right team to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The North London club were close to entering the running for the elusive trophy last season under Harry Redknapp, but the club stumbled out of the chase in the final weeks of the campaign.
"When I see these players, there is a lot of quality and possibility to be in first position," Vertonghen told ESPN. "They were in the title race last year; this year I want to do the same and keep it going for longer."
Vertonghen completed his move from Ajax to White Hart Lane yesterday.
