Tottenham Hotspur will sack technical director Franco Baldini after the transfer window, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims that Paul Mitchell's appointment as head of recruitment in November is believed to be the main reason that Baldini will be let go, with Tottenham hoping to streamline their recruitment process.

Baldini joined Spurs in 2013, and facilitated signings such as Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado.

He previously filled similar roles for AS Roma and Real Madrid.
