Son Heung-min scores South Korea hat-trick

Tottenham new boy Son Heung-min scores a hat-trick for South Korea in their 8-0 World Cup qualifying win over Laos.

Son Heung-min has given Tottenham Hotspur fans a glimpse into his goalscoring potential after netting a hat-trick in South Korea's World Cup qualifier with Laos.

Spurs' new £22m man opened the scoring in Thursday's 8-0 demolition in Hwaseong, before netting two more in the final quarter of the clash.

Tottenham came under fire on Tuesday for failing to sign West Bromwich Albion hitman Saido Berahino, with Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace and Lilywhites chief Daniel Levy becoming embroiled in a war of words.

The North Londoners' manager Mauricio Pochettino later played down the need for another striker, citing Son's arrival as a reason.

Son will wear the No.7 at White Hart Lane.
