Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has described the North London outfit as the "biggest club" that he has known in his career.

Sissoko's opening months at the club have been disrupted by injury and suspension after he moved to White Hart Lane in a last-minute switch from Newcastle United on deadline day.

The France international has also played for Toulouse, but he believes that Spurs is another step up from anything he has experienced before.

"Tottenham is the biggest club I have known. You must convince in every game, every training session," he told FourFourTwo.

"But competition never scared me and the coach is correct. It makes playing the best players of the moment for the team to be always on top. If we want to win something late in the season, that is how we can get there."

Sissoko has been limited to just nine appearances in all competitions this season, during which time he has failed to register a single goal or assist.
