Tim Sherwood expects "tough" Hull City game

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood hopes that his side can respond to the Manchester City defeat against Hull City on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has insisted that he is anticipating a difficult encounter against Hull City in Saturday's clash at KC Stadium.

Sherwood said that the 5-1 defeat to Manchester City will not have helped his side's morale, but believes that the players can respond against the Tigers.

"We know it will be a tough game – going to Hull is never easy, especially after the City defeat," Spurs' official Twitter account quotes him as saying. "We have to bounce back.

"You'd expect the lads to be down. I don't expect them to be doing cartwheels around the training ground after losing 5-1.

"You have to get rid of that disappointment, get it out of your system. We'll do that and we'll be ready to go again on Saturday."

Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League.
