Report: Melbourne Victory prepare William Gallas move

Australian outfit Melbourne Victory are reportedly preparing to offer a contract to former Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas.

The 36-year-old, who departed White Hart Lane at the end of last season, has also played for Chelsea and Arsenal during a 12-year career in the Premier League.

According to reports on Twitter, the former France international has been contacted by the A-League side, who are confident of securing his signature.

Gallas is also believed to be considering offers from the MLS.
