Harry Redknapp jokes at England audition

Harry Redknapp has joked that Tottenham Hotspur's draw with Stevenage in the FA Cup will harm his chances of becoming England's new manager.

Football Association chairman David Bernstein was in attendance to watch Spurs' stalemate with the League One side in the fifth round of the domestic competition yesterday.

"I bet [Bernstein] was impressed with the football I served up, yeah," joked Redknapp. "He was probably thinking, 'who is this geezer?!'"

The North London side will stage an FA Cup replay at White Hart Lane on March 7.
