Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that Luka Modric could make an appearance against Hearts on Thursday in the return fixture of the Europa League play-off.
The midfielder, who was left out of the team’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford last night (Monday), could face being cup-tied in Europe ahead of a proposed move to Chelsea.
Despite the 25-year-old potentially missing out on Champions League football if he were to move to Stamford Bridge, Redknapp has insisted that he will consider selecting the Croatian for their upcoming game.
"I don't think he's played his last game for us," Redknapp told
"I want him to play for us against Manchester City on Sunday, he's a good player and we need him out there for us. We've got Hearts on Thursday too and I'd love to get a game into him.â€
Tottenham head into the Europa League clash with a 5-0 lead when they host Scottish outfit Hearts for the return leg of the play-off tie.
