Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has attributed his side's poor run of form to a lack of squad depth.
Spurs have won just one of their last nine Premier League outings, and crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of Chelsea last weekend.
Their recent slump has seen them fall behind Newcastle United in the battle for fourth place, putting their target of Champions League qualification in jeopardy.
"We had what we had today and that was all," Redknapp said. "The only option today was whether I started Aaron Lennon or not.
"Other than that I couldn't stand there and say there were other people on the bench who should be in the team or who deserved to be in the team."
Tottenham went down 1-0 at Queens Park Rangers yesterday.
