Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly expected to return to Europe next week following a short break in his native Argentina.

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly return to Europe next week following a short break in his native Argentina.

The 47-year-old was sacked by Spurs last month following a poor start to the 2019-20 campaign that left the North London club sitting 14th in the table.

Speaking over the weekend, Pochettino confirmed that he wanted an immediate return to management, noting that he had already received several offers from clubs in Europe.

According to Sky Sports News, the manager will return to his home in Barcelona next week and evaluate offers from other clubs.

Pochettino is currently enjoying a 10-day break in Argentina and was in attendance over the weekend to watch his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys take on River Plate.

The former Spurs boss has reportedly attracted interest from both Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
