Hugo Lloris reveals that he was "terrified" for Michu when a collision between the two players left the Swansea City striker flat on his back.

Hugo Lloris has admitted that he was "terrified" for Michu after a collision between the two players inside the Tottenham Hotspur penalty box left the Swansea City striker flat on his back.

Referee Mike Dean allowed the game to continue instead of stopping it, as Spurs ran out 1-0 winners at White Hart Lane.

"I was terrified when I saw him on the ground," Lloris told The Sun.

"I had to go for it and impose myself. I made the decision to punch and unfortunately there was a big collision.

"It's okay, he got up and it was more a fear than injury. I asked him several times, he said there's no problem."

The win lifts Tottenham to fourth in the Premier League table.
