Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has insisted that he was always confident of making his way into the first-team, but refuses to get carried away.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form this season, which has earned him a spot in Mauricio Pochettino's side, having netted 18 goals in all competitions.
His latest came in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
"I always believed in my ability," London24 quotes Kane as saying. "This season has been a good season for myself and for the team. We've got to keep our feet on the floor and we've got to try and get as many wins as possible."
Kane has also been widely tipped for a call-up to the England senior team.
