Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Milika Aleksic has passed away, aged 61.

The Staffordshire-born stopper was in between the posts for Spurs' 1981 FA Cup final success - most famous for Ricky Villa's memorable individual goal.

In total he made 32 appearances for the Lillywhites and also had spells at Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle during a 14-year career.

Aleksic passed suddenly in Johannesburg on Wednesday night, with the cause of death yet to be revealed.
