Benoit Assou-Ekotto returns to training with Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto was due to restart training with his teammates today.

The Cameroon international has featured regularly at left-back for Spurs over the past four seasons.

However, a knee injury has limited him to just three outings this season, all of which came before the end of September.

"Training with the team today !!! I hope as i ll remember the name of every one LOL," he wrote on Twitter.

His appearance at training this morning has led to reports that he could be included in the squad for the weekend's encounter with Swansea City.
