Sports Mole looks at how Antonio Conte could line his Tottenham Hotspur side up for Wednesday's EFL Cup quarter-final against bitter rivals West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make changes for their EFL Cup quarter-final against West Ham United on Wednesday, just three days after a bruising and breathless encounter with Liverpool.

The likes of Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Oliver Skipp were all included in Tottenham's matchday squad last time out despite reports that they were among the players still suffering from coronavirus, whereas Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg missed out.

Antonio Conte confirmed in his pre-match press conference that all of his players have now tested negative for coronavirus, although some are still feeling the effects of having had it.

Cristian Romero remains sidelined with a thigh injury which will keep him out until next year, while Ryan Sessegnon is expected to miss up to two weeks with an injury he picked up against Liverpool.

Tottenham's recent enforced two-week break means that the rotation of players is not as urgent as usual at this time of year, but there should still be opportunities for some fringe players, including Steven Bergwijn and Joe Rodon.

Japhet Tanganga, Sergio Reguilon and Skipp may all return to the starting XI too, while Harry Winks's performance against Liverpool could have earned him another starting spot.

Kane could be the star name on the Spurs teamsheet having ended his home league goal drought at the weekend, with the England captain having scored 11 times in 15 appearances for Tottenham against the Irons.

However, he has found the back of the net just three times in his last 12 League Cup appearances, having scored four times in his first five such games for Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Lloris; Sanchez, Rodon, Davies; Tanganga, Winks, Skipp, Ndombele, Reguilon; Bergwijn, Kane
