Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Norwich City

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Norwich

Tottenham Hotspur will look to end a rollercoaster 2019 in winning fashion when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Spurs closed the gap on the Champions League places back to three points with a Boxing Day triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion, coming from behind to avoid another upset at the hands of the Seagulls.

Another win on Saturday would temporarily lift them into the top four with Chelsea not in action until Sunday, and they will be favourites against a Norwich side that props up the rest of the table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their final match of the year.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out Type of injury: Elbow Possible return date: Unknown

February has been pencilled in as the possible return month for Hugo Lloris, who has been sidelined since October with a dislocated elbow.

Ben Davies

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Ben Davies suffered ankle ligament damage early in the Jose Mourinho reign and remains sidelined, with no return date yet given.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Son Heung-min

Return date: January 5 (vs. Middlesbrough)

Tottenham's appeal against Son Heung-min's red card for kicking out at Antonio Rudiger was rejected, meaning that he still has two of the three-game ban to serve.

Harry Winks

Return date: January 1 (vs. Southampton)

Harry Winks picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the final match before the amnesty on Boxing Day, meaning that he is banned for Saturday's game.

Moussa Sissoko

Return date: January 1 (vs. Southampton)

Moussa Sissoko also picked up his fifth booking of the season against Brighton and is therefore also suspended for the next match.
