Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. RB Leipzig

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Leipzig

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League when they travel to RB Leipzig for the second leg of their last-16 clash on Tuesday night.

Spurs have work to do in the European tie having lost 1-0 at home to the German side in the first leg.

Jose Mourinho's side were held at Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, meanwhile, meaning that they are now without a victory in their last five matches in all competitions, suffering four defeats in the process.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's injury and suspension news ahead of the European clash against the Bundesliga outfit.

Harry Kane

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Spurs will be without Harry Kane until at least April due to a hamstring injury sustained against Southampton on New Year's Day. The England captain's absence has harmed his side in the final third of the field.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Moussa Sissoko also suffered a long-term knee injury against Southampton on New Year's Day, and the powerful midfielder is unlikely to return to the field until the latter stages of next month.

Son Heung-min

Status: Out Type of injury: Arm Possible return date: Unknown

Son Heung-min injured his arm in Tottenham's 3-2 win over Aston Villa in February, forcing him to undergo surgery which will keep him on the sidelines for potentially the next couple of months.

Juan Foyth

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: March 10 (vs. Leipzig)

Juan Foyth has missed the majority of this season through injury, featuring on just seven occasions in all competitions. The defender is currently battling to overcome a groin problem, although he could be available for Tuesday night's European clash having returned to training.

Steven Bergwijn

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Steven Bergwijn faces a battle to play again this season having picked up a "significant sprain" to his left ankle during Saturday's draw with Burnley in the Premier League.

Ben Davies

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: March 20 (vs. West Ham United)

Ben Davies will not be available for Tuesday's match due to a hamstring problem, but the Wales international is expected to return to action before the end of the month.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST
