Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Newcastle United - Richarlison, Sessegnon and more

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Newcastle - Richarlison, Sessegnon and more

Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to St James' Park to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

Ange Postecoglou's men boosted their top-four hopes with a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend, with second-half strikes from Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro securing maximum points on home soil.

The North Londoners capitalised on Aston Villa's 3-3 draw with Brentford to climb into fourth spot, and they now sit just above the fifth-placed Villains on goal difference with a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this weekend's contest with Eddie Howe's side.

Richarlison

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: April 13 (vs. Newcastle United)

Richarlison was forced to miss last weekend's win over Forest due to a knee injury and it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will be fit to feature against Newcastle.

Fraser Forster

Status: Out Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: April 28 (vs. Arsenal)

Fraser Forster sustained a foot fracture in training in February, and should his rehabilitation go to plan, the goalkeeper could be in a position to return towards the end of the month.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Manor Solomon has undergone multiple operations in an attempt to mend a troublesome knee injury and there is currently no timeframe on the attacker's potential return.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Ryan Sessegnon had only just recovered from one severe injury before picking up a season-ending hamstring problem while playing for the Under-21s earlier this year, and the 23-year-old has months of rehabilitation ahead of him.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham Hotspur have no suspended players for this match.
