Team News: Harry Kane starts in strong Tottenham Hotspur side against AFC Wimbledon

Kane starts for Spurs against Wimbledon

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been named in the starting XI for their FA Cup third-round meeting with AFC Wimbledon at Wembley Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino has selected a relatively strong side, with the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele also picked to start against Sunday's League One opponents.

There are eight other changes from the 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Thursday, however, with Michel Vorm, Kyle Walker-Peters and Erik Lamela among those coming in.

Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley, meanwhile, has made four changes from his side's 2-0 win over Southend United on New Year's Day.

Barry Fuller, Jonathan Meades, Andy Barcham and Darius Charles come into the starting lineup as they seek to produce a giant-killing in England's national football stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm; Trippier, Foyth, Vertonghen, Walker-Peters; Wanyama, Dembele, Sissoko, Lamela; Kane, Llorente Subs: Lloris, Davies, Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Nkoudou, Son

AFC Wimbledon: Long; Fuller, Meades, Oshilaja, Francomb; Abdou, Trotter, Barcham, Soares; Charles, Taylor Subs: McDonnell, Nightingale, McDonald, Forrester, Kaja, Kennedy, Hartigan
