Kieran Trippier has described the Video Assistant Referee controversy surrounding Tottenham Hotspur's FA Cup win over Rochdale as "crazy".
Spurs ran out 6-1 winners in Wednesday night's fifth-round replay at Wembley, but the encounter was once again overshadowed by numerous moments involving VAR.
"It was crazy," Trippier told BBC Sport. "Obviously the decisions took some momentum out of the game but the referee has to make the decision so we have to wait.
"We created a lot of chances in the first half. We have to give credit to Rochdale, they made it difficult again - as they did in the first game. They had one chance and they took it but every chance we had we took."
Spurs will travel to face Swansea City in the sixth round on March 17.
