Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Portsmouth

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Portsmouth

Tottenham Hotspur will endeavour to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup when they tackle League One side Portsmouth in North London on Saturday lunchtime.

The Lilywhites enter the contest on the back of a convincing 4-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace, with Harry Kane bagging a brace while Son Heung-min and Matt Doherty also got in on the act.

Tottenham have eight FA Cups on display in their cabinet, but their last success came all the way back in 1991, and they were dumped out by Middlesbrough in the fifth round last year.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown with Portsmouth, who enter the contest having just sacked manager Danny Cowley.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscular Possible return date: Unknown

Dejan Kulusevski has now missed Tottenham's last two games with a muscular injury, which was originally only supposed to keep him out for one match, but Conte has now admitted that he does not know when the Swede might return.

Richarlison

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: January 23 (vs. Fulham)

Richarlison picked up a thigh problem while representing Brazil at the World Cup, and he will soon undergo another MRI to further understand the extent of the injury, but he will not be available for at least another couple of weeks regardless.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: January 15 (vs. Arsenal)

Rodrigo Bentancur was also the victim of a World Cup injury - damaging his groin on Uruguay duty - and while he will not be available for this cup tie, Conte is confident of having him back for the North London derby with Arsenal on January 15.

Lucas Moura

Status: Out Type of injury: Tendon Possible return date: Unknown

Lucas Moura's season has been disrupted by a long-standing tendon problem, and the Brazilian is still struggling to put a permanent end to the issue, rendering him unavailable once more.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Yves Bissouma is now back from a one-game ban served in the thumping of Palace, meaning that Tottenham have no players suspended for this match.
