Tottenham Hotspur make three changes to their starting XI for the first leg of their Europa League last-16 encounter against Inter Milan at White Hart Lane.

Brad Friedel has been selected in goal ahead of Hugo Lloris, while William Gallas comes into the defence in place of Michael Dawson.

Jermain Defoe also starts in attack following the injury to Emmanuel Adebayor during Sunday's win over Arsenal in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Antonio Cassano returns to the Inter starting lineup after a row with coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
