Team News: Harry Kane left on Tottenham Hotspur bench against Fiorentina

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been placed on the bench for their Europa League round-of-32 first-leg clash against Fiorentina at White Hart Lane this evening.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has handed Roberto Soldado a chance in attack as one of six changes from the side which lost 3-2 at Liverpool last time out.

Ben Davies and Federico Fazio come in for Eric Dier and Danny Rose in defence while Andros Townsend, Nacer Chadli and Paulinho come in for Ryan Mason, Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela in midfield.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina hand a Europa League debut to Egypt winger Mohamed Salah, who has joined on loan until the end of the season from Chelsea as part of the deal that took Juan Cuadrado to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City defender Micah Richards, on a season-long loan with the Serie A club, is named among the substitutes for the visitors at White Hart Lane.
