Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Partizan

Sports Mole looks ahead to Thursday night's Europa League match as Tottenham Hotspur take on Partizan looking to book their place in the last 32.

Tottenham Hotspur will book their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League if they get the better of Serbian outfit Partizan at White Hart Lane on Thursday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are level on points with Besiktas at the top of Group C and could also guarantee a top-two berth if the Turkish side beat Asteras in the group's other game on matchday five.

Federico Fazio won't be available for selection in two days' time after his late red card in the 2-1 victory over Asteras last time.

Vlad Chiriches could come in for him at the back, while further forward joint-top scorer in the tournament Harry Kane (five goals) should lead the line with both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado doubtful.

Since holding Spurs to a goalless draw on matchday one, Marko Nikolic's Partizan have lost three European games in a row and have no chance of progressing to the knockout stage.

They haven't won in 10 Europa League games and only Slovan Bratislava (none) have scored fewer goals than Partizan (one) in this year's competition.

Spurs:

Form in Europa League: WWDDWW
Form in all competitions: LWWWLW

Possible starting lineup: Vorm; Dier, Chiriches, Vertonghen, Davies; Paulinho, Stambouli; Lennon, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane

Partizan:

Form in Europa League: WWDLLL
Form in all competitions: DWLWWW

Possible starting lineup: Lukac; B. Ilic, Cirkovic, Stankovic, Volkov; S. Ilic, Markovic; Grbic, Ninkovic, Lazovic; Skuletic

Sports Mole says: 4-1
