Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams.
The defender joined Boro's youth academy in 2005 after arriving in England from his native Australia.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins could now launch a £5m bid for the 24-year-old, according to The Sun.
Williams spent four months on loan at Burnley in 2009.
