Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini is not actively looking to leave St Mary's ahead of the January transfer window, according to his agent.

The agent of Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini has insisted that his client is not actively looking to leave St Mary's ahead of the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old has only managed three goals in 17 appearances for Southampton during the 2017-18 campaign.

Gabbiadini has started just half of Southampton's 18 Premier League matches, however, and it has been suggested that the Italian international wants to return to Serie A next month.

Silvio Pagliari, who represents Gabbiadini, has said that the forward is currently content in England, but refused to rule out a departure altogether.

"We're fine [in England]", Pagliari told TMW. "For now, we're certainly not talking about it. But, in the market, never say never."

Gabbiadini scored six times in 12 appearances for Southampton last season following a January move from Napoli.
