Preview: Southampton vs. Swansea City

Sports Mole previews Southampton's match with Swansea City on Saturday.

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins goes into this match with speculation surrounding his future at the club after his side picked up just one point in their previous five league matches.

The Saints are currently bottom of the Premier League and despite their 2-0 defeat against West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening, Adkins may decide to retain Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert in attack with the club in need of three points.

Goalkeeper Artur Boruc could be recalled to the starting lineup after the club decided to take no action over claims that the 32-year-old had thrown a bottle into the crowd during their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Swansea City netted a late equaliser to draw 1-1 with Chelsea last weekend and manager Michael Laudrup may choose to retain the same starting lineup.

One change he could possibly make is replacing Wayne Routledge with Nathan Dyer, who made an impact from the bench in last weekend's match.
