Shrewsbury Town have signed winger Shaun Whalley on a two-year contract, subject to a medical.
The 27-year-old left Luton Town by mutual consent last month.
A former Norwich City trainee, Whalley's former clubs include Chester City, Accrington Stanley and Wrexham.
He spent part of last season on loan at Conference outfit AFC Telford.
