Shrewsbury Town's Bobby Grant named League Two's Player of the Month

Shrewsbury Town midfielder Bobby Grant has rounded off his prolific spell in March by collecting League Two's Player of the Month award.

The 24-year-old, who is on loan at the club from recently-relegated Championship side Blackpool, scored five goals last month.

Grant, who experienced a spell out of the team, nabbed a brace in a 2-1 win over Accrington Stanley and both goals in his side's 2-0 triumph over Portsmouth.

Shrewsbury claimed 13 points in March, and they are currently second in the table.
